Launch HANA query designer from the Analysis office.
Prerequisites to use this feature:
->Supports SP10 onwords
->It works only with HANA calculation views
To see the "Launch Query Designer" option in the ribbon menu enable the check box in settings as shown in the below screen shot.
Steps:
Insert HANA calculation view and put cursor on the grid and click on "Launch Query Designer" from the ribbon menu.
Login with the same credentials which you used when inserting view in AO.
SAP HANA web based developement workbench will launch with query.
Paste From file in filter dialog
we can paste members from the file also as like paste from clipboard,see the below highlighed option in filter dialog box.
Non supported format for the member seperator:
Comma and space delimiter(e.g. 1,2,3 and 1 2 3)
Supported Format for member seperator:
semiclon and line by line
Supported file type:
.txt
Non Supported file type:
.png .gif and jpeg
Once members are selected in the filter dialog after paste from the file, below message will disply.
Now click on OK in filter dialog, required changes will reflect in the crosstab based on the member selected.
If file format or member seperator not supported will get message like "No members were paste"
